The decline of the UK mining industry in the 1980s meant that Wolf had to find alternative markets. For this reason Wolf began to reposition themselves as the manufacturer of the world’s most comprehensive range of explosion proof, portable lighting and indicating equipment and set about marketing its services and products to emergency services around the world.
MM Design has played a major part in Wolf’s commercial repositioning and has provided design and marketing services to the company for over 20 years. Although our long-standing relationship started with the rebranding of Wolf, we provide ongoing design services for the company on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.
Key to the success of our relationship with Wolf is our ability to respond quickly and accurately to their requests. In a highly regulated and competitive industry the requirement for product improvements and updates is continuous and consequently the requirement for updated product specific literature (marketing and technical manuals) also follows. Text amends, revised illustrations and new translations into other languages for each product are required on a frequent basis.
